Professional courses are ideal for those seeking formal recognition of their skills to support employment, meet compliance requirements, or progress into further study.

- SSC Professional Certificate is issued when you complete a Micro Credential through your subscription (Essentials or Premium). It recognises your participation, progress, and skill development within the course.
- An Accredited Certification (Statement of Attainment) is issued when you successfully complete formal assessments by either upgrading to a pay-per accredited certification or enrolling in the Professional course. This Australian nationally recognised credential can support your career advancement, meet compliance requirements, or count towards future study pathways.

You can: - Download it as a PDF

Can Microcredentials count toward further study?
Yes! Some Microcredentials may be eligible for credit or recognition in future qualifications, if you complete formal assessment from the professional plan. This depends on the course and provider.
If you're thinking about using your Microcredentials to step into formal education or qualifications, contact us by completing the enquiry form. We’re here to help you explore your options.
Can I audit or preview a Micro‑credential before committing?
Yes! We offer free course previews, including sample videos, learning objectives, and assessment overviews. This lets you evaluate content and fit before enrolling or subscribing.
Why should I choose Micro‑credentials instead of enrolling in a full qualification online?
Micro‑credentials offer a flexible, focused, and faster way to build job‑ready skills without the time or financial commitment of a full qualification. Here’s why many learners prefer this pathway:
- Faster Completion: Most Micro‑credentials take just 1–2 weeks of part‑time study, compared to months or years for full qualifications.
- Targeted Learning: Focus only on the specific skills you need for your role or career goals—no unnecessary units.
- Lower Cost: Micro‑credentials are more affordable, and subscription plans give access to a full library of courses at a fraction of the cost of a full qualification.
- Stackable Pathways: Many Micro‑credentials count toward accredited qualifications. You can build up credit progressively—at your pace and on your terms.
- Career Flexibility: Ideal for upskilling, reskilling, or testing a new field before committing to a longer study path.
They’re especially useful if you're looking to:
- Boost your resumé quickly
- Learn a new tool or framework
- Meet CPD requirements
- Or explore a subject area before deeper study
If you later decide to pursue a full qualification, SSC makes it easy to convert your learning into formal credit.
