Course Overview

The Diploma of Information Technology (Cyber Security) equips you with specialised skills in network defence, threat monitoring, and incident response to protect organisations from evolving digital risks.

You’ll build technical capability in security architecture, digital forensics, disaster recovery, and secure network administration while strengthening communication, teamwork, and applied problem solving.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

To enrol, you must:

  • Be at least 16 years of age
  • Have completed Year 10 or equivalent overseas study, or demonstrate relevant vocational or workplace experience
  • Domestic learners must provide a Unique Student Identifier (USI); offshore online learners (not on a student visa) are exempt

To successfully complete this course, you’ll need to:

  • Have access to a computer/laptop with webcam, microphone, headset/speakers, reliable internet, and Microsoft Office (or equivalent)
